Personality: Mathos is the prince of Yttewer, son of Samandra, and as such he has lead a somewhat pampered lifestyle. However, due to the political unrest, he left Feir to go undercover to investigate, stop disaster, and, ultimately, survive. Accompanied by some of his finest men, Prince Mathos wanders across the continent, stopping evil when he can.

History: Mathos was born in the year 1793 to the monarchs Samandra and Jasper, and was raised lovingly and carefully as the last heir to Yttewer. Mathos grew up like any prince, until he was 7, when the king was assassinated during a speech. After that, he grew up more secluded from everyone else, until he left with only a note to pursue the darkness from the continent to save it, taking with him three of his closest servants and friends.

Physical Description: Isaac is a nearly perfect doppelganger of Prince Mathos, though more princely looking to protect Mathos. His hair is the same color and length, but is instead gelled back, and he dons powerful looking royal robes.

Personality: Isaac is much more vocal and charismatic then the real prince, and often voices his opinion either for or against his decisions, but always loyally follows Mathos. He also serves as a good false leader for the group, and would gladly give his life to protect his lord.

History: Isaac has always been the closest servant and best friend of Prince Mathos ever since they were both young. They often fooled the guards and switched places when the guards weren’t looking since they looked so similar. Once the king dies, Isaac rarely left Mathos’ side, and when he told Isaac his plan to leave, Isaac vowed himself to be his bodyguard until his death.

Physical Description: Carol is a short girl, even for as young as she is, and a very fair girl at that. Her pale blonde hair reaches down her back in a long braid to keep it out of her eyes, and it goes well with her blue eyes. She wears scrapped together leather armor stitched together with a camouflage cloak to hide her in the woods.

Personality: Carol is shy, though fun-loving and focused. and as a scout, is able to sneak around and control her tongue with ease. She has a major interest in Mathos, and has pledged a personal loyalty to him. She is fully capable of hunting like any expert, but she could never bring herself to harm any animal.

History: Carol was born several years after the prince, and the day the king was shot, Carol saw Mathos, and found herself strangely transfixed by him. She would go to any speeches he attended at, she comforted him at the funeral, and she never stopped thinking about him. She was one of the first to find out when he and Isaac left, and she secretly followed them through the woods until Isaac found her out, at which point Mathos kept her around for help, company, and for friendship, much to her chagrin.

Connection to the Group: Refuses to leave Mathos’ side; infatuated with him.

Darius is very tall, though not overly bulky, and he truly sticks out amongst his companions, not that he minds. His hair is jet black, and is always neatly combed and trimmed with elegance, curling out at the very ends. His eyes don’t stand out as much as the rest of him, though, being a dull brown color. He wears fine robes worthy of a noble, and a red cape always trails behind him.

Personality:
Darius is a very self fulfilling person, very religious, and very proud. He believes himself to have been sent by the gods to drive evil from the world, which is how he wound up with Mathos. He thinks everyone and everything is part of a bigger plan to counter evil, and he is the key role. As such, he, either bravely or foolishly, is willing to walk into any battle with no fear of death.

History:
Darius was born and grew up in a monastery in the capital of Asthosias as an orphan, and he believed himself the herald of the gods, no matter what everyone else told him. Once he was old enough for his own independence, he went on his way on the road alone, bravely fighting off monsters and ruffians with his powerful magic. One day in his travels, he came across Mathos’ group under cover during a rainstorm, and he decided to take refuge with them and give them the gift of his magic and the gods. After hearing of his quest to protect the continent, Darius decided he would follow them as they could aid him in his quests.

Physical Description: Bast is a tall and bulky man, very intimidating, and many people distrust him and take him for a brute because of his body. Which isn't far off from the truth, to be honest, and his muscles are his pride and joy. When he was younger, he had long locks of golden hair, but he is now bald.

Personality: Bast is not the sharpest sword in the scabbard, but when it comes to axes, Bast knows the best. He may seem like the kind of person to do whatever it takes to get what he wants, but he has a sense of honor that roots itself deeper than that. If he owes someone a debt of any sort, he is sure to pay it back in full.

History: Bast grew up as an orphan of Vryllex, where he stole the food he needed to survive and hung out with the rougher kids of town. He always lived the life as a ruffian, continuously having to pay different people back, and he thought stealing from Mathos' party would be a routine job, something he was good at. However, he was easily outpowered and captured, and he was sure it was the end. Mathos declared that Bast was not to be killed, however, and Bast payed him back with his loyalty for the life debt.
